Is there a subway system in Las Vegas like New York or London?

Las Vegas does not have a traditional city-wide subway system like New York or London. Instead, it offers a few transportation options including the Las Vegas Monorail, which runs along the east side of the Strip, and public buses.

Las Vegas Monorail

The Las Vegas Monorail operates along the east side of the Strip, connecting several major resorts from MGM Grand to Sahara. While it's a fast option for getting around, the stations are located behind the resorts and it does not extend to the airport or cover the entire Strip.

Public Bus Services

The Deuce is a double-decker bus that runs the length of the Strip and extends to Downtown, providing a more affordable but slower option due to traffic. The SDX (Strip & Downtown Express) is another bus service that makes fewer stops, making it quicker for some travelers.

Alternative Transportation

For those looking for more direct routes, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are available, as well as taxis and shuttles. The Vegas Loop, an underground tunnel system using Tesla vehicles, is also being developed to connect various points, but it is not a comprehensive subway system.
