How long has the Las Vegas Monorail been in operation for the public?
The Las Vegas Monorail has been in operation since July 2004, providing a transit option along the east side of the Strip. It connects several major resorts but does not reach the airport.
Monorail Overview
The Las Vegas Monorail runs approximately 3.9 miles along the east side of the Strip, from the MGM Grand to the Sahara. It offers a fast way to travel between certain resorts, but the stations are located behind the properties, making access less direct than walking along the Strip.
