Getting to the Vegas Sphere from Sahara via Monorail

To reach the Vegas Sphere from the Sahara by monorail, ride southbound three stops to the Harrah's/The LINQ station, then walk roughly half a mile north-east to the Sphere on Sands Avenue, behind the Venetian. Do not ride to MGM Grand: that is the far south end of the line, the wrong end of the Strip for the Sphere.

Monorail Details

The Las Vegas Monorail runs along the east side of the Strip, with the Sahara station being one of its northernmost stops. While the monorail is fast, the stations are located behind the resorts, so you will need to walk to the Strip after disembarking.

Walking to the Sphere

Southbound from SAHARA the stops are Westgate, Las Vegas Convention Center, then Harrah's/The LINQ. Get off at Harrah's/The LINQ, the closest station to the Sphere. The Sphere sits on Sands Avenue just east of the Venetian and Palazzo, so from the station you head north-east rather than onto the Strip; plan on roughly half a mile on foot.

Considerations

Make sure to check the monorail schedule, as it operates with varying hours, especially during holidays. Also, remember to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, as walking the Strip can be tiring.
