Best Ways to Get Around Las Vegas Besides Walking
Rideshare Services
Rideshare options like Uber and Lyft are convenient for getting around the Strip and to nearby attractions. They can be ordered from designated pickup areas, and are often quicker than taxis for short distances.
Taxis
Taxis are readily available and can take you anywhere on the Strip or beyond. Make sure to ask the driver to take the metered route to avoid potential 'long-haul' scams.
Public Transportation
The Deuce is a double-decker bus that runs the length of the Strip and connects to Downtown, offering a budget-friendly option, though it can be slow due to traffic. The SDX (Strip & Downtown Express) is a faster alternative with fewer stops.
Las Vegas Monorail
The Monorail runs along the east side of the Strip, providing a fast transit option between certain resorts. However, it doesn't reach the airport and the stations are a bit removed from the Strip sidewalk.
Vegas Loop
The Vegas Loop is an underground transportation system using Tesla vehicles, primarily serving the Convention Center and expanding to various resorts. It's a paid point-to-point service that can be useful for quick trips.
