Are free drinks available in Las Vegas casinos?
Free Drinks While Gambling
In Las Vegas, many casinos offer complimentary drinks to players while they are gambling. This is a common practice and can enhance your gaming experience. However, the drinks are typically only free if you are actively playing at a table or slot machine.
Tipping Etiquette
While the drinks themselves are free, it's customary to tip the cocktail servers. A tip of $1 to $2 per drink is standard, even though the drinks are complimentary. Having cash on hand will ensure you can tip appropriately and keep the drinks flowing.
Budgeting for Hidden Costs
Keep in mind that while drinks may be free, you should budget for other expenses such as room rates, resort fees, parking, and tips. The advertised room rate is rarely the total cost, so plan accordingly.
