The Grand Canyon has two main areas accessible from Las Vegas: the West Rim, approximately 2 to 2.5 hours away, known for the Skywalk, and the South Rim, about 4.5 hours away, which offers iconic national park views. Both locations can be reached via bus or helicopter tours.
Hoover Dam is located roughly 45 minutes from the Strip and can be visited on a guided tour or by driving yourself. It's often combined with a trip to the Grand Canyon West.
Red Rock Canyon, about 30 minutes west of the Strip, features a scenic drive and hiking trails, while the Valley of Fire, approximately 1 hour northeast, showcases stunning red sandstone formations. Both are excellent options for a half-day nature escape.
